For more than 35 years, Missouri Mansion Preservation has provided volunteer tour guides known as “Docents” to support The Missouri Governor’s Mansion tour program. The Missouri Governor’s Mansion welcomes visitors throughout the state and world.
Free guided tours are provided January through November. Please plan on your tour lasting from 20-30 minutes.
- Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more. Please secure your reservation at 573.751.2854 or online.
- Walk-in groups of less than 10 are always welcome.
April through mid-May. Tours begin every 15 minutes from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, except on major holidays and special events. (We recommend you arrive no later than 11:30 or 2:30.)
January, February, March and Mid-May through November. Tours are on the hour and the half hour from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, except on major holidays and special events.
Closures:
- If inclement weather requires local school closings, The Missouri Governor’s Mansion will also be closed.
- If The Missouri Governor’s Mansion is required to be closed for another reason, there will be a sign on the front gate entrance. You may call the Missouri State Museum at 573-751-2854.
