Free guided tours are provided January through November; the mansion is closed for tours the month of August. Plan on your tour lasting 30-45 minutes. During April and May, tours are 15 minutes long to accommodate fourth-grade students from all over the state exploring Missouri’s art and history.
Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more. Please make your reservation at 573.751.2854 or with the Division of State Parks at this link. Walk-in groups of fewer than 10 are always welcome.

The Governor’s Mansion will be closed for public tours in July and August.
Tours are approximately twenty to thirty minutes in length. Please understand the importance of arriving before 11:40 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. to have enough time to take the Mansion tour. In the event Jefferson City schools are closed due to weather, tours will also be closed.
Due to the Governor’s Mansion being a working building, tours and events are subject to cancellation at anytime. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
